Rotary Club of Harlem is excited to announce FOUR 2018 student winners of the Chanell E. Gatewood Scholarship!
In 2017, our club lost a very dear friend and faithful member, Chanell E. Gatewood, after a long, hard battle with Scleroderma. We honor Chanell with the Chanell E. Gatewood Scholarship. This annual scholarship will go towards providing much needed educational resources for youth facing hardship from health, economic, and environmental challenges.
Two middle school and two high school applicants from the Harlem community were selected by our committee and received their awards totaling $1500 towards their educational needs and goals in May.
Our club is very proud of these young scholars and excited to see all the roads they will travel in their academic journey!
