Great things happen when Area 5 Rotary Clubs come together!
This past Saturday, we had our annual Area 5 BBQ in the Riverside Park in Harlem, NY. With food provided by “Cooking from the Heart, Port Chester,” sunshine and fellowship, it was big smiles all around!
And the best part was the great causes that we were able to fundraise for:
- TWO bridges will be built in Panama through the “Bridges to Prosperity” Program based on the funds raised at this event
- “Blessing Bags” (gift bags with toiletry basics for the homeless of NYC) were donated to Women In Need NYC and IRIS House. These bags make a big difference in the lives of New Yorkers.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
