The Rotary Club of Harlem meet the Rotary Club of North Shore

The Rotary Club of Harlem had the opportunity on March 28th, 2024 to meet with the Rotary Club of North Shore (RCONS). The genesis of this meeting occurred at the wonderful Chinese New Years celebration held by the Rotary Club of Chinatown. While discussing our clubs and exchanging meatball recipes, we received an invite to The Rotary Club of North Shore’s weekly meetings. We took up the mantle and accepted the challenge. The RCONS met us at the ferry terminal and drove us to their meeting. We started with a meet and greet and were amazed at the venue, The Staaten, and the set up of their club meeting. We laughed, we drank, we spoke about how our clubs were affected by COVID and how our clubs were able to turn this into a positive. We even left with future challenges to a bow-lathon, a picnic invitation, and a future Thanksgiving crossover event. All in all we had a great time and we would like to thank everyone at the Rotary Club of North Shore, especially Diane and Gale. Wayne, Tanesha, Donna, Tarik and I are ever so grateful for your show of hospitality.
